You're the Best

I'm back with more Hero Arts goodness. It's the invasion of the lovebot! This card is my second submission to the Hero Arts January Contest and this time I used the masking technique. The Silly Scape was released by Hero Arts last summer but it's new to me and the brand new Robot Trio was my son's choice. :)

First I stamped the robot on copy paper and cut it out to create a mask. Then I stamped the robot on its finished base, laid down the mask and stamped the Silly Scape over top. The city took a while to colour but it was a lot of fun! Once that was finished, I cut it out, popped it on the white card base with dimensionals and added a sentiment from Sending Smiles. Yup, I'm so in love with Hero Arts. Sigh.

I love the bright coloured city! Wish all cities were that clean and cheery. The robot is gorgeously shaded too.

Holy cannoli that's a cute card! I've considered the silly scape as well, but the thought of doing all that coloring makes me shudder a little. Can't believe you didn't hit even one of those tiny windows!

Bet little D loves this one, too :)
