Unity FWF Blog Hop {Mar 11th}

It's our third straight day of all-day rain here in Toronto but at least it's Friday which means Friends With Flair! You all know the drill by now, right? ;) Start at the Unity Blog later this morning to get a full list of participants. Look for the FWF blinkie while hopping and leave a comment on that blog for a chance to win 25 random Unity stamps!

My card is another reject from the Paper Crafts Go-to Sketches call. I had previously submitted it to the Stamp It! call in the baby category so I guess they must really not like it and I'd better stop submitting it. LOL Since I don't have to send it into the magazine, I can give it to a friend whose baby is due at the end of this month! Hooray for that. :D

This card uses my favourite citrus colour combination and the cute animal stamps from my all-time favourite Unity kit, Happily Ever After. I paired it up with an embossed blue sky, two-toned grass and cappuccino baker's twine from The Twinery!

Have you seen Unity's March 2011 Kit of the Month - Just You? You can click on the above image to see the full kit and for all the details about the Kit Club. I personally chose to opt out of it this month (one of the great things about joining) but if you love it and you're not already a Kit Club member, you can join now to get it for only $26 plus shipping which means each fabulous stamp is only $1.50!!

Your next Friend With Flair is Lisa Henke!

I hope the rain settles for you soon, and that it's at least warm?

Emily, this is so cute!! I love all your cards with these sweet animals on them. It's so sad this got rejected, I personally would have loved to see it on the cover of some magazine :)

This is just as cute as can be Emily, love your color selection, doesn't it says HAPPY right there?

Regarding my "waltzing mouse" card, that is a pebbles with gems around it from Recollections, I think it is like a replica from Prima's pebbles.

Reject? Why would anyone reject such a cute card? :( It is lovely!!

Hope the rain settles down soon and you get some sunshine :)

Ooh! Super, super-cute! You know I love those little animals...now, if only someone would have (another) kid so I'd have a good reason to use them! Love them combined with the impression and dies and twine -- every detail is perfect.

I love those little animals! They have been added to my always growing wish list. :) Can't believe this got rejected. I love the snow globe shaped focus, the textured background and the happy colours. Hope the rain stops. I'll trade you the rain for the sunshine - we really need some water here!

So charming! You can make that twine work anywhere too :) You have the rain, but that same weather system dumped a foot of snow on us in Cleveland :(
