Lil' Inker Designs Holiday Release Blog Hop {Day 2}

Welcome to Day 2 of Lil' Inker Designs' Holiday Release Blog Hop! You should've arrived from Laura's blog so be sure to start there because you don't want to miss a thing. If you hopped with the first half of the design team yesterday, you'll know the Holly Jolly Die & Sentiments set is adorable and there are so many possibilities when designing with it!

Every curve of this tree is perfect. I cut mine out of glitter felt that was crunchy enough you can still see the little perforations if you look closely enough. I used the berries as ornaments on the tree and chose the sweet little 'Merry and Bright' sentiment to finish it off. I love how the little perforations on the tree trunk give it a woodgrain look. Imagine how quickly you could make a batch of holiday cards using just this set!

Now head on over to Julie's blog for more inspiration using Holly Jolly Dies and Sentiments! Remember to leave a comment on each blog for your chance to win one of two $10 store credits. Start again at Laura's blog tomorrow for Day 3 of the Lil' Inker Holiday Release. I will see you again on Thursday!

What a great idea for making quick and easy cards-- and who doesn't like that at this time of the year?

I'm fascinated by the concept of crunchy felt. :D Crunchy or not, a beautiful card -- sometimes strong colours and a bold image are all you need! The sentiments in this set look sweet, too.

Sheesh, you've been a busy blogger! I love the glittery felt tree -- it looks all frosty, kinda like the trees outside this morning (brr...). The font of those sentiments is quite nice, too.
