{Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge} Anything Goes

Welcome to the last Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge in May! This week's challenge is Anything Goes and the design team is featuring Lil' Inker Designs and/or Newton's Nook Designs products. You don't have to use them but we'd love to see some if you have them.

I used the Balloon Builders stamp set and Balloon Dies from Lil' Inker Designs to create a bright and cheery birthday card.

The larger cloud panel was created using the Wonky Scallop Border from My Favorite Things. To create a continuation, the cloud panel and sentiment continues on the inside of the card.

The patterned paper is from Pink Paislee's Color Wash 6x6 paper pad.

One winner will be chosen at random to win a $50 gift voucher to the awesome Simon Says Stamp Store!

It could be you!

I hope you will play along with us this week!

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful Wednesday. :)

Peace

I wanted to switch things up a bit and show you an older card that didn't go anywhere. It was originally submitted for publication last year and then sent away so I completely forgot about it. Looking at the photo now, I remember how much I loved making it! The stamp set is from The Stamps of Life and it's called boxes4abc. The bell die is from Lil' Inker Designs and it's called Jingle Joy. I placed some rhinestones underneath the openings of the die. The baker's twine is from The Twinery.

Aside from my design team obligations, I haven't made any Christmas cards yet. Have you started yours? What stamps and/or dies have you been using the most? Will you make them all unique or will you mass-produce them?

{Newton's Nook Designs} Meoooow! + A Farewell

Jen is sharing this card on the Newton's Nook Blog today. It features the ghostly kitty from Boo Crew. I paper pieced the cat and created a black 'rug' for her using patterned papers from Webster's Pages Once Upon a Halloween paper pad and stitched rectangle dies from Lil' Inker Designs. It's hard to see behind the cute little bow but I shaded in the insides of the ears with Copic markers. The card base is dry embossed with cobwebs and the sentiment was heat embossed.

Unfortunately, this is my last month on the Newton's Nook Design Team. I would've loved to stay on with this great team but I'm leaving to pursue other opportunities. It was an honour helping Jen launch her new company and I know I'll be seeing these cute stamps all over blogland!
