Let's Celebrate

This is my third post of the day. CLICK HERE for the Lil' Inker Designs March Release Hop {Day 2} and HERE for my Take Two Week {Day 2} post.

Today is my eighth wedding anniversary! THIS is the card I'm giving to my husband when he gets home from work but today's card would work, too. Maybe I'll surprise him two cards. ;) Apparently, he made me a Paper Smooches anniversary card, too! I can't wait to see it and I will share it with you. I used a bunch of stamps from Metropolis to create this card, including the skyline, sentiment and fireworks. I used Dude Block to reverse stamp the skyline as a reflection and also used it to stamp the blue water. The sailboat, popped on foam tape, is from My Guy and the waves are from Surf and Turf. I used the rock-and-roll technique on the fireworks and added glitter to make them stand out.

Thank you for all of your positive feedback on my latest video tutorial! Your support means so much to me. For those of you who haven't already seen it, you have 'til Friday to leave a comment HERE for your chance to win one of three $10 gift certificates to the Paper Smooches Store.

Congratulations to the happy couple! My hubby made me a birthday card once with my acrylic stamps, and said the thing kept sticking to his fingers! Obviously never noticed the clear blocks on the shelf above... Men are so cute when they try to be crafty!

Happy Anniversary Emily. I have been married for 33 years and I hope you will be married for many more years than that. What a cute card. I think it is so special and sweet that your husband makes you cards. I would say that he is a keeper.
