Always Thinking of You

Here's another card for the Hero Arts April Contest, this time a shaped one! I used my new Roma stamp again with the butterfly from Bold Pop Designs and a sentiment from Good Friends. I sponged around the map and I used the rock 'n' roll technique on the butterfly. Then I used a brush to paint Lavender Stickles on the darker areas. To finish, I stamped the sentiment and added three pearls which were coloured with Copic markers. I didn't have the exact shade of purple needed so I coloured and recoloured with three different purples.

I hope you all have a fabulous start to your week! See you tomorrow. :)

Oh, how I love that sentiment! And the butterfly turned out gorgeous :) I find purple a really hard colour to match in general. I think that's why I don't use it often!

Emily, LOVE how you used the map stamp on round card stock, then shaded the edges. Then the butterfly on top as if it's flying away ... fantastic card!!!

Such a sweet circle card, Emily! Your butterfly is so pretty, and I love how you paired it with that vintage map background. It's a beauty!

(Sorry I haven't been able to stop by much recently--real life has been calling, rather LOUDLY, I might add! It was a treat to be able to stop by to see your creations again.)
