{Paper Smooches} Over the Hill

Kim is sharing this card on the Paper Smooches Blog today. It features a sentiment from Birthday Sampler and the ever-so-fun Party Pals! I stamped each word from the sentiment separately to fit them inside the balloon. It's like they were made to fit in there. The big balloon is great for accommodating a lot of the sentiments in Birthday Sampler. Both of these sets make it easy to whip up a birthday card in no time!

I had a lot of fun trimming these animals and creating a scene for them. The 'vintage clockworks' words on the background paper made me giggle as I was putting it together. The animals and balloon are popped up with foam tape and I added tiny little pearls to the cat's necklace. I created a slit in the bunny's mouth and slid the teeth under the top lip so he's really bucky. LOL All of the patterned papers are from Teresa Collins' Vintage Finds. I love all the shades of pale oranges and greys in this paper pad. It makes it so easy to mix, match and paper piece with.

Thank you for stopping by today! See you again soon. :)

I absolutely adore this little scene, Em! However, I don't really want this particular card for my birthday for many years yet, okay? :D
