Holiday Bikes

Just a quick share of holiday bike cards for some friends who absolutely love bikes. There was no way I could send them any other kind of card. These ones use Papertrey Ink's Pedal Pusher stamp set and coordinating dies. I used the Simon Says Stamp Falling Snow stencil with modeling paste for the snowy background, Wink of Stella to glitter up the holly leaves and Copic markers (25% off right now!) to create quick shadows under the wheels.

I had some left eye pain yesterday but when I woke up this morning, the whole area surrounding my eye, including the cheek, were severely read and swollen like I'd been in a boxing match! Yikes. My doctor's office was fully booked so I had to go to the walk-in clinic. It turns out I have an inner eye and gland infection so I now have antibiotic eye drops and pills to take. I certainly hope it clears up in a few days or I'll have to go see a specialist.

We're expecting some snow this weekend which will be nice. It's been exceptionally cold here so hopefully that means some warmer temperatures! :)

Leave it to you to come up with yet another perfect bicycle Christmas card, Em! Not to mention that red bikes in general are awesome. :) Terrific CAS design!

These are so cute, Emily! I love the texture of the snow and how you curved the sentiment. I'm sorry to hear about your infection; hope the antibiotics kick in quickly.

The effect of the modeling paste snow is great. The whole card is well done. I would never think to incorporate a bike in a Xmas card but it works! The holly and sentiment are nice touches.

I hope your eye is MUCH better already! No fooling around with eyes, they are way too important.
I love the soft dimension the paste gives - and I love Christmas bikes!
