{Neat & Tangled} October Release Week: Day 3
Hi, everyone! It's Day 3 of Neat & Tangled's October release and, today, the design team is featuring Warm Wishes. This big, beautiful sentiment, complete with a cute cup of coffee (soup or tea), is perfect for all your winter and holiday cards!
To create this card, I die cut the Tiny Triangles from watercolour cardstock. You'll be seeing more of this die on Friday. Then I stamped Winter Wishes on the die as well as on linen cardstock on the layer beneath. After watercolouring with Gansai paints, I adhered the two layers together.
I added shimmer to the tea cup with a Wink of Stella marker and embellished with sequins in colours that coordinate with the watercolours and patterned papers.
I channeled Jocelyn Olson and hand-cut two layers of patterned papers from We R Memory Keepers' It Factor 6x6 paper pad. On the base layer, I splattered Mister Huey's Color Mists in Desert, Canyon and First Kiss before adhering the hand-cut layers with foam tape.
There's a GIVEAWAY! Be sure to comment on the Neat & Tangled Blog for your chance to win the Warm Wishes stamp set.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

This holiday card done in untraditional colors were a smile to my eyes. I was glad you explained how you got the words on the top and in the recessed areas...neat trick! Your attention to details are what made this card so beautiful. Thanks, I learned something new!
