{Crafts for Kids Video} Snow Angel Tags!

First of all, I can't thank you enough for all the amazing, sweet comments you left for Damian on his first video! If I snapped a photo of him after reading each one, you'd see a collage of huge smiles!! Of course, now he wants to make a video every day. We can't do that but we do have another one for you today! It is Christmas after all. ;)

One of the ideas I had when I bought Alpine Carolers (+ Creative Cuts) was using those little kids in a snow angel scenario. After all, my son will try to make snow angels in one centimetre of snow. LOL! I bought fun foam to stack in a block so that I could twist them in embossing paste to create the snow angels.

I wish you could see the sparkle from the Wink of Stella. In the photo, it looks like they're lying on cake icing, rather than snow. Haha! I'm hoping to experiment a little more other types of paste to make the snow look more realistic. I also want to try twisting the stack of die cuts with craft-a-board instead of fun foam. I'll aim to share these ideas with you soon. :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Oh, Emily! You and Damian have made my day. I was very sad because I just found out that part of my family will not be coming for Christmas because my grandson has the flu. My heart was so sad and disappointed, but I picked up my iPad to read some blogs and watch some videos, and there was another video starring Damian. His voice is so sweet and kind. His language development is superior for his age, and he speaks with crafting words. He doesn't like his skin colors in his markers and got to use his mother's copics for the first time! I loved the video, and you did cheer me up. Thanks

Another great Damien and Emily production! I enjoyed learning how to make the snow angels with the modeling paste. I will definitely try this neat technique. Damien, your coloring skills are awesome! Thanks for sharing your crafty ideas.

Seriously - such a cool idea!!!!! Loooove those snow angels!! (We don't have snow in SC but my 6 year old will to make 'snowmen' - he means snow angels - in the frost on the grass!!!! Ha! He's never seen snow before!)
Anyway!! Love these tags!!!! Your son is an awesome color-er and I LOVE how excited he is about being crafty!! So lovely!!

D really is a natural at narrating crafting videos! I love the excitement in his voice when you let him use one of your Copics... good luck keeping them to yourself now! The finished tags are so cute! Super job, Damian!
