I'm so glad I found some time to craft today so I could squeak in an entry for My Favorite Things' Card Design Superstar Contest! All of the other entries inspired me to throw one in for the fun of it. I wanted to enter last year but didn't have time and I didn't want another year to go by without trying. My Favorite Things is one of my favourite companies to hoard from - er, buy from - and I never have enough time to use it all! In fact, Lindsey sent me Cup of Tea stamps and Tea Party dies for my birthday so I owed it to her to use them now and not several months from now. ;) 
I started by creating a background with the Wonky Chevron Stencil and pearlescent embossing paste. Then I die cut the teapot, teacup and teabag. I heat embossed the sentiments and set those pieces aside while I stamped and coloured the kitty and table from I Knead You. To complete the scene, I layer-stamped and die cut two flowers and two leaves from the gorgeous Mini Modern Blooms set. To finish, I painted white gesso on the kraft card base and attached the teabag with white hemp cord.
