{Sunny Studio Stamps} New Design Team Member!

I'm so excited to be joining Sunny Studio Stamps as a design team member! I love fun, quirky stamps and Mendi's illustrations are perfect for me. Of all the stamps currently in the Sunny Studio collection, my favourites are the critters with mix-and-match heads and bodies. I had to use the silly raccoon for today's card.

To create my scene, I picked the two main images - mailbox from Sending My Love, and raccoon from Woodsy Creatures - then stamped and cut masks for them. I created two asks for the raccoon, one for the entire body for stamping the mailbox and another, just for the paws, so I could stamp the apple from Summer Picnic behind the digits.

After stamping the main part of the scene, I stamped the sentiment and added falling leaves - also from Woodsy Creatures - to create movement down and across the card. After colouring everything with Copic markers, I used the same colours from the leaf on the apple and the mailbox to create a pointillist anchor to ground the scene.
