Concord & 9th | October 2020 Feature Friday | All the Letters & Numbers Bundle and Painted Bundle

Hi, everyone! I'm back with my second Feature Friday projects for Concord & 9th. This week, Joan BardeeLauraJane and I are showcasing the All the Letters & Numbers Bundle and the Painted Bundle. There were a lot of products in these bundles and I had so much fun combining them all! I needed a lot of space so I decided to take advantage of the extra space provided by slimline cards.

I used the same colour theme on both cards - Grapefruit, Stardust, Evergreen, Aqua Sky, Peacock, Dove and Mushroom - because that makes it easier for me to create and the cards also look great when photographed together. LOL This is especially helpful when making slimline cards because it's not as easy to photograph slimline cards, as I'm sure you know!

The All the Letters & Numbers Bundle includes five items, including four stamp sets and a die set. I managed to use something from all those sets on my first card. Most of the letters were die cut with the coordinating cardstock colours, the heart and number 3 were stamped with the coordinating ink colours, and some letters were stamped with both the solid and outline letter stamps, then the die cut letters were adhered over top, showing just a peek of the stamping for emphasis.

Both the stamped sentiments at the top and bottom of the card are from the Painted Sayings Stamp Set. Both the White and Dove cardstock are from Concord & 9th.

I love these tall skinny letters and numbers. You can use them to form longer words on cards of all sizes, even the standard A2 cards. I had so many ideas, even those license plate riddles that you often see. It would be so fun to sit down and make a bunch of cards with that theme.

I was so giddy when I figured out that I could use the large shapes from the Painted Shapes Stamp Set to make emojis! Originally, I stamped the faces directly on to the Stardust circles but the colours changed and the Grapefruit eyes didn't show up well. I used masking paper to keep those parts white while I stamped the head.

Since I was using mini ink pads on such a large stamp which resulted in lines, I had to double stamp the circle. A slimline doesn't fit into the Original MISTI stamping tool so I think I will have to get the larger Memory MISTI stamping tool if I continue to make more slimline cards. I was quite nervous about doing all this stamping with a large acrylic block but it turned out to be very easy to line up. I love the results of this fun card!

If you were inspired by my cards, please consider using my affiliate links to purchase items! This is helpful to me and also lets Concord & 9th know that you like my work using their products. :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
