Hello, my beautiful friends! I hope your New Year is off to a great start. It's time to start sending out Valentine's Day cards and these are perfect for friends who didn't receive Christmas or New Year's cards. Either way, everyone needs some extra love right now so there's no excuse not to make a few extras. ;)
This card features the Spellbinders Small Die of the Month and I used all four dies included in this month's membership. The dies are so intricate and stunning! The Spellbinders Platinum 6 die cutting machine cuts them beautifully and the awesome tool 'n one removes all the pieces so easily.
I started with a white linen card base and cut the largest die using the same cardstock. I adhered it to the card base in the centre only so the details of the die would pop on the outer edges. Then I layered the inside frame using slate gray cardstock and cut out the heart from metallic gold cardstock using the remaining two dies.
I heat embossed the sentiment from the Clear Stamp of the Month with sugar cube ink on schoolhouse red cardstock and trimmed it to the width of the slate gray frame, adhering it flat to the card to keep this design easy to mail.
