It's time for another fantastic release and, this time, I was super excited to see the Adventure in Asia Bundle! You know that I love making traditional New Year's cards but I also love making Chinese New Year cards so these new products will come in handy for this year's festivities. The Global Adventure Part Deux Release will be available to StampNation members at 12pm EST on Tuesday, January 11th and for General Ordering at 9am EST on Wednesday, January 12th. This first card features the Paper Lantern Die and Fan Dance Background Stamp. I used all of the colours from the Parasols & Pagodas Patterned Paper to ink blend the die cut, stacking it on four layers of premium white cardstock for dimension.
I heat embossed the Fan Dance Background Stamp using Disco Ball embossing powder. The sentiment from the Lantern Festival Stamp Set was heat embossed on vellum using Metallic Gold Rich embossing powder. I used the direct-to-paper technique with the Bay Breeze ink pad to create a quarter-inch strip on the left edge of the card base and added a few gold sequins from the Vegas, Baby! sequin mix.
