Spellbinders | 5x7" Birthday Card feat. Timeless Collection

Hello, crafty friends! I'm back with another card using the Spellbinders Timeless Collection. This is the third card I made with this collection using the same colour palette shown in the following posts:

I just love seeing all three of these cards in the same-but-different colour palette! Do you notice anything unusual? Yes, today's card is a 5x7" card! The Timeless 5x7 Cardfront Dies are perfect for when you need a bigger card. I remember having to buy one of those jumbo cards many years ago because a lot of people needed to sign it, although this one could just be for someone extra special. ;)

Once again, I used Sweet Potato Pie, Dragonfruit, Sea Glass, Fog, Onyx and Mirror Gold cardstock. Since my first two cards had very little Dragonfruit and Sweet Potato Pie, I made sure those were my most used colours here, with a card base cut from Sweet Potato Pie and the mat for the scrolls cut from Dragonfruit.

I cut both sides of the scrolls twice from Sea Glass cardstock and stacked them two high before glueing them to the Dragonfruit mat. Next, I cut the pierced oval from Fog cardstock and inlaid it inside the mat.

After cutting the inner scrolled piece from both Mirror Gold and Onyx cardstock, I glued the Mirror Gold piece on the oval layer and inlaid the Onyx pieces. Originally, the sentiment was on a single inner piece cut from white cardstock but I didn't like the way it looked so I redid it in two layers.

I cut an extra piece of the inner scroll from Sea Glass cardstock and inlaid that into the Mirror Gold scroll. Then I heat foiled the birthday sentiment from Always You Timeless Sentiments Press Plates using Gold Hot Foil on Fog cardstock. Finally, I used the smallest die from this set to cut out the sentiment and popped it on to the card with 1mm white foam squares.

I'd love to know what you think of the Timeless Collection! Which of these cards is your favourite? It's hard for me to choose but I'm leaning towards the black one. It was the easiest one to make and I can see myself replicating it in different colours.
