{Avocado Arts} Peep-Tastic Anniversary

Today, the Avocado Arts Pit Crew is sharing projects using the fun March release, Spring Medley. I thought it would be fun to use the big peep to create a couple for a cute anniversary card. I'll be giving it to my sister and her husband who will celebrate their milestone tenth wedding anniversary next month. The nerdy glasses are from Smitten With You, the bow tie is from Let's Catch Up! and the 'anniversary' sentiment is from Avocado Style Borders & Sentiments.

Sadly, this is my last post for Avocado Arts. It's never an easy decision to step down from a team, especially after 15 months with a group of immensely talented ladies that I really enjoyed working with. I'll always remember the day I was asked to join this amazing team. Huge thanks to Michelle and Lisa for the wonderful opportunity!

{Avocado Arts} Happy Easter

Today, the entire Avocado Arts Pit Crew has loads of inspiration to share with you! We've all made cards featuring the March release, Spring Medley. I don't eat peeps but my husband loves them. He thinks they're best when stale. I guess I'll take his word for it. LOL! I prefer the paper kind and I love that this set has the filler stamp so you don't have to colour. Stamp the outline in black or any other colour, then take the filler stamp and 'colour' them in! I cut out my bunnies on the Cameo using the coordinating digicuts but these peeps are easy enough to trim with scissors.

{Avocado Arts} Have a Happy Day

Today, the Avocado Arts Pit Crew is sharing projects using the gorgeous March release, Spring Medley. This set has the perfect mix of cute and pretty. I went all pretty for today's card which features all of the flowers and the two leaves. I used the coordinating digicuts. The hollowed flower and leaves really give these images that wow factor and they are so easy to use on the Cameo. I embellished the flowers with microbeads in three different colours. I also used Mister Huey's mists on the background. I wasn't patient during the drying process and smudge some of it. Lesson learned.
