This is my second post of the day. If you're looking for my {Lil' Inker Designs} January Release Blog Hop: Day 2 post, please CLICK HERE or scroll down.
Today, the Avocado Arts Pit Crew is sharing projects using the awesome January release, Perfect Blend. Since I shared a coffee card on January 7th, I thought I'd switch it up and make something for tea lovers this time. I used the Perfect Blend Digital Die Cuts to cut the two sections of the paper cup, the heart, tea bag and steam. Oh, how I love that die cut steam! It's just something you could never fussy cut so it's one of the things I appreciate most about these coordinating digicuts and my Silhouette Cameo. ;)
To create the custom sentiment, I used the word 'heart' and did a little masking to spell 'tea'. 'Just For You' is from Borders and Sentiments. After cutting and paper piecing the lid, I cut a small opening and slid the end of the tea bag underneath. After adhering all the elements to the card, I used a Copic multiliner to add faux stitching around the mat. All of the pretty papers are from Basic Grey's PB&J paper pad.
If you'd like to purchase Perfect Blend, just click on the graphics above. Avocado Arts would love to see you using their stamps! Remember, there's a publication incentive, too. ;) Don't forget to check out the following posts for more inspiration:

Another yummy patterned paper frame! And that steam die cut really is amazing. Might have to get a Cameo just for that! :)
look at you rockin' the patterned paper. LOVE that fun tea cup and bag.
Love the dimension - everything just pops! Beautiful colours you used too :)
LOVE!
Great card! Love that there are so many coordinating dies with this set!
So cute...love the patterns! Lee-Ann :)
Love your combo of patterned papers on this one, Emily! And yeah, that die cut steam is awesome!! <3
Yes, these are definitely pretty papers! I also want a tea store to open that has such beautiful cups and holders. :) (I don't know, I think if anyone could fussy-cut that steam, you could, Em. :D)
Oh mannn I want a silhouette now! Coordinating digi cut files are always nice :D
Fabulous paper piecing! I love the different patterns. The die cut steam is awesome...you're right that it would be impossible without the Cameo.
Fab card, Emily!
