One of my design team assignments this month was to feature the Gumdrops Icons dies, in particular the gingerbread house. I used the coordinating Giddy Gumdrops stamp set and a sentiment from the Bitty Bungalows stamp set. In the following start-to-finish video, I share a few tips on paper piecing:
This card works as a holiday, family/friendship or new home card. I selected four different patterned papers from BasicGrey's True Love paper pad. The design is clean and simple but the sponged edges, colours, patterns and pearl embellishment give it the illusion of much more.
