Two Many Cards Video Series feat. Lawn Fawn + Giveaway!

Hi, everyone! Samantha Mann and I are back with new videos for Two Many Cards. If you're new to this series, please visit my original post HERE, which explains how and why we're sharing our own unique take on the same products.

Today, we're so excited to be featuring fun, adorable and super inspiring products from Lawn Fawn, including On the Beach stamps, On the Beach dies, Hammock and Trees and Sandy Beach Accents.

I used all of the aforementioned sets, along with the Shadow Box Card dies to create two shadow box cards. That little bear makes me squeal, especially with the cool shades and the fox is too cool in the hammock!

I used the Sandy Beach Accents on four of the five hills so I could tuck in the different images. They're so much fun and addictive to use! These could be used on pretty much anything, from sand to water and even snow.

I was so delighted that I was able to figure out a way to fit the Hammock and Trees into the Shadow Box Card. I really hope you'll give it a try and let me know how it turned out!

Who knew interactive cards would be so addictive to make and play with? The Magic Picture Changer and Magic Picture Changer Add-On dies are pure genius and I loved transforming this little sunbathing bear into a tanned version of himself, complete with a setting sun and darker sand. Lucky for him, he had sunscreen on so he wasn't too badly burned. LOL

I hope you enjoyed today's 3D and interactive cards! Have you used these dies? If not, they're a fabulous way to surprise the recipient. My son was super impressed by the shadow box cards but then asked what they're for. LOL! I wonder what kind of scene he would create? ;)

Technique Tuesday & WOW! Embossing Powder Blog Hop + Giveaways!

Welcome to Day 2 of the Technique Tuesday & WOW! Embossing Powder Blog Hop! If you missed Day 1, head over to Technique Tuesday's blog post HERE and hop along. We have prizes so be sure to hop along on both days and comment for your chance to win! Today, you should've arrived from the WOW! Embossing Powder Blog, your first stop for Day 2 of this fun collaboration hop.

My projects feature the Sweet Summertime stamp set, Sweet Summertime dies, and Cool & Sweet Words dies. I previously featured the Sweet Summertime stamp set HERE.  Yup, I can pretty much combine any stamp set with a squirrel. ðŸ¤ªðŸ˜‚

All images were stamped with Archival Jet Black ink before being watercolored with distress inks (listed below) and heat embossed with various WOW! Embossing Powders. For those of you who've been following me for a while, you'll know that I love combining classic fonts with scripted ones so I wanted to use both the Cool & Sweet Words dies with words and phrases from Sweet Summertime. I stamped specific treats to go with the custom sentiments.

I specifically used the three ice cream cones so I could feature the Bursting With Color Trio. I added Clear Sparkle to the cones themselves and to heat emboss the base layer of the Cool & Sweet Words dies. The top layer was heat embossed with Black Twinkle Glitter. Both of these together are so sparkly in person!

I think we all know that anything can be made into a wreath, including fruit. It looks delicious, doesn't it? LOL I added Primary Pink Lady on the strawberries and watermelon, Black Twinkle Glitter on the watermelon seeds, and Berryburst on the blueberries.

Since the first card was too clean and simple, I used the Cars on the Border die to dry emboss some details on the panel before adhering all of the elements. I also felt it was too wide for the design so I trimmed a quarter inch off the width, making it a sleeker and more proportional card.

DAY 2 HOP LIST

WOW! Embossing Powder

GIVEAWAYS

Technique Tuesday is giving away TWO $20 gift certificates to their store and WOW! Embossing Powder is giving away SIX powders of your choice, plus a WOW carry case. Winners will be chosen randomly from ALL THE POSTS on both days. The more you comment, the higher your chances of winning these fabulous prizes.

{Two Many Cards Video Series} featuring Heffy Doodle + Giveaway!

Hi, everyone! I'm super excited to introduce Samantha Mann as my guest this month for Two Many Cards. I've been a huge fan of Sam's for years and I've long wished for her to make videos! I have a feeling that you'll all be begging for more after this. Sam, you're going to be a busy girl! ðŸ˜‰ If you're new to this series, please visit my original post HERE, which explains how and why we're sharing our own unique take on the same products.

Today, we're so excited to be featuring beautiful products from Heffy Doodle, including the Super Dudes stamp setSuper Dudes dies, Cityscape stencil and Rays the Roof stencil. I'm also using the Super die and Crafty die.

I started these two cards by stamping multiples of each image from the Super Dudes stamp set,  whether or not I planned to use them. Then I coloured them with distress ink colours, all of which are listed in the supply list below.

I used both ends of the Cityscape stencil to create a scene. Watch my video above to see how I cut apart the stencil and the full explanation of the reasons behind it. You'll want to do it, too!

To create the custom sentiment, I stamped words from the Super Dudes stamp set and incorporated the Crafty die. As you probably know by now, I love sentiments that have a combination of traditional fonts and scripted fonts.

For my second card, I used the remaining image from the Super Dudes stamp set, along with one of the Rescue Dogs stamp set, a gift with purchase. Isn't he cute? He works so well with the Super Dudes stamp set. The background on this card was created with the Rays the Roof stencil.

I also created a custom sentiment for this card but I masked a much longer, single sentiment so it was stamped on three lines instead of one. This time, I incorporated the Super die.

I had a ton of fun playing with these adorable products! The scenes came together so easily and my son even asked if he could skip making his own Father's Day card and give the latter to his dad. LOL!! ðŸ¤£ðŸ˜±

VIDEO | Studio Katia 3rd Birthday Blog Hop + Shop Discount + Giveaways!

***GIVEAWAY CLOSED***
The winner of a $25 gift certificate to the Studio Katia shop is Carol Mayne. Please email studiokatiagiveaway@gmail.com with the subject line "Emily Leiphart YouTube Winner" to claim your prize!

Hello, I'm thrilled to be joining Studio Katia for its 3rd Birthday Blog Hop with giveaways! Today is Day 1 of a two-day celebration and you should've arrived from Isha Gupta's blog.

We're celebrating with a blog hop, new release, shop discount and lots of giveaways! The new release includes 5 new stamp sets, 1 set of coordinating dies, 1 new stand-alone die, 2 new stencils and lots of new embellishments.

All stops will have a giveaway and some will occur on blogs, while others will occur social media channels such as InstagramFacebook and YouTube (like mine!) so be sure to read carefully and enter where applicable for multiple chances to win!

This post is photo-heavy so if you want to skip the photos and watch the video, that is perfectly fine! I made three quick and easy cards using six of the new release products. The first card features the Party Balloons StencilIt's Your Birthday Stamp Set and Pastel Rainbow Confetti sequin mix.

I stencilled all the balloons using four distress ink colours, heat embossed the sentiment with sparkle embossing powder and adhered Pastel Rainbow Confetti and Clear Drops Mix Two with Studio Katia Glue.

I was inspired by the colours in the Pastel Rainbow Confetti sequin mix so I used similar colours to sponge the balloons and then of course the sequins matched. It's practically a party on a card!

While I love my first card, the second one is my favourite of the three because it features Kobi the Bear who's a favourite of mine in terms of stamp set characters. I'm so happy to have another Kobi for my collection!

On this card, I used all of the images and a sentiment from the Kobi Makes a Wish Stamp Set and Kobi Makes a Wish Dies, as well as the confetti from It's Your Birthday. Of course, I coordinated the confetti and Copic colouring with the colours from the first card.

To frame my scene, I used the largest die from the Dot Patterns Mix 1 Die Set and used it to dry emboss the panel in my Spellbinders Platinum 6 die cutting machine.

For my third and final card, I used the Shaker Balloon Die with the Pastel Rainbow Confetti and sentiments from It's Your Birthday.

I used the negative space for the shaker and the positive pieces, cut from glitter cardstock, to frame the shaker and double up on balloons for an ultra festive card.

I second-generation-stamped the best wishes sentiment in the confetti colours to balance the colour in the shaker.

I added balloon strings with cord in coordinating colours and held them in place at the knot with glue dots and secured to the card with multi-medium matte.

{Sunny Studio Stamps} Home Run/Slam Dunk Birthday Card by Damian

My son made this card for his classmate who celebrated his birthday this past week. His friend plays in hockey and baseball leagues but is also a huge basketball fan. With the Toronto Raptors doing so well in their first ever NBA Final, who wouldn't be? ;)

Naturally, Damian reached for Sunny Studio Stamps' Team Player and stamped out the trophy, baseball, bat and basketball using the original MISTI stamping tool. Then he used his favourite colouring medium, Prismacolor Premier Pencils.

My favourite part of this card is the way Damian was able to transform the basketball into a Toronto Raptors ball using a Copic multi-liner and fine point Sharpie! My husband and I were so impressed and I know his friend will be, too!!

After the images were coloured and die cut, Damian arrange them in a cluster and picked a combination sentiment. It was a tough choice between "home run" and "slam dunk" since either phrase would've worked for these images. I stamped the sentiment myself since it involved multiple steps with masking.

Finally, the images were adhered to the panel with glue dots and foam tape. The only image Damian wanted popped up was the trophy but he specifically wanted the handle of the bat behind the basketball with the top end leaning against the trophy. The top of the bat is popped up and the bottom is flat on the panel. To finish, we embellished the card with three stars, die cut from silver screen cardstock.

I made two cards using four of the six new release products. This first card features the new Cuppa Sunshine Dies with a sentiment from Sunnyville. The steam is a combination of Flourishes 1 Dies and Stitching Basics Dies.

I die cut the cup from four different colours of cardstock, along with white linen and sugar crystal glitter cardstock. I inlaid the colours first, then adhered entire layers of the cup to match, topping it off with the glitter cardstock.

To finish, I stamped the a heart-eyed face and the largest encouraging sentiment from Sunnyville and added a few sparkling clear sequins.

My second card is also clean and simple in design but careful placement of the elements and a few layered details make it pop.

This card features SunnyvilleSunnyville Icons Dies and Sunny Dies. First, I stamp layered the sun and die cut it. Aren't those rays the cutest?! They're so tiny and adorable! Then I die cut the glasses from the Sunny Dies and used them to help me gauge where to stamp the eyes and mouth on the sun.

Placing the white linen panel in my mini MISTI stamping tool with the sun helped me gauge where to stamp the little clouds. Finally, I stamped the sentiment - my favourite in Sunnyville - and adhered the sun with foam tape.

I shared more variations on Instagram HERE. Click on the link and swipe left to see close-ups of these two cards!

Thanks so much for hopping along with us!
