Hello, crafty friends! I'm dropping in to share these ink comparison charts of Catherine Pooler's NEW Beach Retreat inks!! These are the most beautiful, sublime blues and greens that remind me of relaxing places by the sea. I can just close my eyes and imaging myself on a tropical island somewhere. I sure miss travelling! Even the names - Tranquil, Cove Blue, Sea Glass and Bay Breeze - are perfectly representative of their colours and they're so beautiful when stamped! Whether you already own Catherine Pooler inks or just starting your collection, you will want to add these to your crafty stash.
In this first photo, I compared the two blues - Tranquil and Cove Blue - on ink swatches and also on the floral flags from the Superlatives stamp and die set. The centre flag shows the two blues when mixed to create an ombre effect. It's absolutely gorgeous!
In this second photo, I compared the two greens - Sea Glass and Bay Breeze - on ink swatches and also on the floral flags from the Superlatives stamp and die set. The centre flag shows the two greens when mixed to create an ombre effect. It has such an earthy richness to it!
In this third photo, I compared the lighter blue with the lighter green - Tranquil and Sea Glass - on ink swatches and also on the floral flags from the Superlatives stamp and die set. The centre flag shows the two colours when mixed to create an ombre effect. If you click on the photo to enlarge it, you can see the transition better where the two colours mix together beautifully and form a third colour.
In this last photo, I compared the darker blue with the darker green - Cove Blue and Bay Breeze - on ink swatches and also on the floral flags from the Superlatives stamp and die set. The centre flag shows the two colours when mixed to create an ombre effect. This might be my favourite ombre mix of them all but, as you already know, all Catherine Pooler inks blend beautifully together.
