I previously made A2 and #10 slimline cards using the Doxie Party Bundle so this time I wanted to make a mini slims card to show how easily the Doxie Birthday Party stamp set fits on all card sizes! I created a card base of 3.5" x 6" and trimmed a panel a quarter of an inch smaller. I used Juniper Mist ink to create a darker frame before attaching the panel. I also cut two strips of patterned paper from Cupcakes & Candles and attached them to the top and bottom of the panel.
I used one of the leftover droopy doxies from yesterday's card and dressed him up with a sweater and heart. Yes, the short sweater still fits on the bent doxie but you'd have to bend the longer sweater for the doxie that faces the other direction. This time I added an extra string for a third balloon and create a big pile of gifts and sugary treats! I especially love the way the new ink colours - Sparkling Berry, Clay Mask, Serene and Merlot - came together with Lemongrass and Juniper Mist on this card.
