Hello, crafty friends! Have you been following along with Ellen Hutson's 12 Tags of Christmas 2021 tradition? Every year from December 1st to 12th, there's inspiration on the blog by way of Brand Ambassador and Guest Designer projects to inspire your holiday tag making! This year, the tags are inspired by a different Christmas carol each day.
So far, I made two tags inspired by the Sneak Peek Day: Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree and Day 1: Christmas in a Coffee Shop. I had recently acquired a couple new sets and they were perfect for these two tags. Made This For You has so many great images, including a little Christmas tree and coffee up, plus I love the modern style of this set. I'm a huge fan of Christine Herrin, the illustrator behind this set, and her company Everyday Explorers Co. I apologize in advance if you head over there and end up spending a ton of money. LOL
After stamping the images in Bay Breeze and Mint To Be, I used the coordinating Made This For You Dies to cut out the images, popping them on sentiments stamped in Juniper Mist and Rockin' Red. I die cut those using the Tag Trio, also designed by Christine and layered them on glitter silver cardstock.
For the tree tag, I die cut the rectangular tag from Tag Trio and stamped details using the Painted Stripes stamp set and Rockin' Red and Mint To Be inks. Then I taped all of the Stitching Lines dies together and added texture to the remaining white part of the tag.
For the coffee tag, I die cut the rectangular tag from Tag Trio using Whirlypop cardstock and added texture using the A2 Piercing Plate. Then I stamped five hearts from Made This For You in Bay Breeze and Mint To Be and added those to the base of the tag as a wonky border.
I secured the round and rectangular tags together using denim ribbon from my stash and metallic silver string. I also added a crystal clear heart embellishment on the top of the coffee cup. Both tags are layered with a second die cut so they open up and a festive message can be written inside.

These tags are sweet. I love how small the images are and the font that goes along with them. Nice choice!
