Spellbinders | March 2022 Clubs Inspiration Blog Hop + Giveaway!

I'm thrilled to be part of the Spellbinders March 2022 Clubs Inspiration Blog Hop! You should've arrived from Jen Krey's blog and I have the full list of participants below. There are also details on the generous giveaway so be sure to read 'til the end.

My card for this hop features the March 2022 Small Die of the Month - Floating Bunny! It's the cutest kit ever and features a bunny in the same style as the bunny from Open House Spring. It would be so cute to combine these two bunnies in the same scene and I think I'll do just that for my next project.

I die cut all of the pieces for the bunny and the clouds from white, pale rose and black cardstock. The large cloud with the sentiment from Sentiments for Everyday was cut from smooth white cardstock but the other clouds were cut from white linen cardstock for texture.

I heat foiled the sentiment using Gold Glimmer Hot Foil. The swing and ropes were die cut from mirror gold cardstock. I used liquid glue to assemble all the pieces of the bunny and swing. Then I placed foam tape behind the bunny and sentiment cloud, setting those aside while I prepared the background.

I cut a 3.25" x 6.25" mini slim card base from white cardstock. Then I trimmed a panel of sea glass cardstock to 3" x 6" and dry embossed it using the Optical Arches Embossing Folder. I just love the effect of those arches - like little rainbows - especially on a clean and simple design! Please note that my card shows the backside of this folder.

I hope you enjoyed today's card featuring the Small Die of the Month - Floating Bunny with the Sentiments for Everyday Hot Foil Set and the Optical Arches Embossing Folder! You have until March 24, 2022 to sign-up for the adorable Floating Bunny kit.
