Catherine Pooler | Just a Note Collection | Sneak Peek #2

I'm back with more inspiration for Catherine Pooler's Just a Note Collection which will be available at 12pm EST on December 7th for StampNation Members and at 9am EST on December 8th for general ordering. This mini slimline card has dimensions of 3.5" x 7" and the colours were, once again, inspired by the Lotsa Love Patterned Paper pack. I used the floral and plaid papers on the card base as a frame, cutting 2.25" x 6" of the floral paper and 1.25" x 6" of the plaid paper.

Using the Two Part Hearts stamp set, I stamped the various hearts using six of the seven colours presented in the Lotsa Love Patterned Paper pack - It's a Girl, Party Dress, Glitz, Aquatini, Uptown and Black Jack - leaving out In the Park. I stamped the sentiment using Uptown and Black Jack on a 3.25" x 5.75" panel before popping the hearts up with foam tape.

I'm so excited about Catherine Pooler's new release! I'll be sharing inspiration using the Notes of Love Bundle, which is perfect for Valentine's Day, love notes and so much more! This sneak peek was inspired by one particular print from the Lotsa Love Patterned Paper pack. I wanted to feature a cluster of tiny hearts, creating a texture that is fun to look at.

I die cut the big heart using the Nested Stitched Hearts Dies. Then I fussy cut all the tiny hearts and glued them on to the die cut heart, adding a few seed beads from the Rehoboth Beach Sequin Mix. I stamped the sentiment with Uptown ink using the Notes of Love Sentiments stamp set and die cut it using the coordinating Notes of Love Dies.

Spellbinders | Feel Better Soon

Hello, crafty friends! Long time no post. I've actually been doing a lot of work behind the scenes and I'll be sharing some of that very soon. In the meantime, I've been enjoying some personal time simply because life has been so hectic and I needed it!

Did you know that Spellbinders releases some of their club kits for individual sale a few months later? These Hex Floral Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month came out in August 2021 and you can see my original inspiration project HERE.

I actually made this mini slimline without remembering the original design and it's funny how this one also happens to be similar in concept! This time, I used Hero Arts cardstock in Mist, Adriatic and Lavender. Then I heat foiled the Hex Floral plates using Skybright Glimmer Hot Foil. 

I chose several uplifting sentiments from Mini Everyday Sentiments and heat foiled them on Mist,  Lavender and white linen cardstock using Skybright Glimmer Hot Foil. I played around with the colours and arrangement before settling on this combination of colours and sentiments. The sentiment in the centre coordinates with the white linen card base. I finished by adding Prismatic Sky and Radiant Orchid pearls to the heat foiled flowers.
