Evelin T Designs | June 2020 Release | Day 3

Welcome to the Evelin T Designs June 2020 Release! Evelin has outdone herself and illustrated EIGHT new stamp sets and I can't wait to share them with you. This week, two stamp sets will be revealed each day and the design team has been busy creating loads of inspiration to share with you. Be sure to stop by the Evelin T Designs blog each day and leave comments for your chance to win one of TWO $15 gift certificates!

Today's card features Under the Sea: Background and Under the Sea: Merfriends. My favourite stamp sets by Evelin are the big ones, like All Is Calm, Sneaky Kitties, Floral Surprise and now Under the Sea: Background! I love the way they cover an A2 card front, making it easy to make a card. All three Under the Sea stamp sets in this release - Narwhal, Background and Merfriends -  work well together.

I had actually coloured the merbear and wanted to include him in this scene. However, I didn't plan where I would put him and filled the empty space with the fish, jellyfish and sea turtle. (What do you think of the bear as merdusa? LOL) The original sentiment I used also didn't work with the card without the merbear so I had no choice but to add some patterned paper to the top of the card to cover it up. I die cut a stitched border across the very top. Then I chose a more appropriate sentiment for the scene.

{Technique Tuesday} October 2018 Release Countdown: Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of Technique Tuesday's October 2018 Release Countdown! The design team is featuring a variety of release products and you're sure to love them so be sure to head over to the Technique Tuesday blog for the full reveal and links to all of the amazing projects. All of the product links will go live on October 1, 2018 for your shopping pleasure.

Today, I'm showcasing the beautiful Luscious Grapes stamp set. I heat embossed the grapes with sparkle embossing powder on a full A2 panel and watercoloured it with distress inks (all colours are linked below).

I used the Luscious Grapes Dies to partially die cut just the top of the image, then cut across horizontally to the edge of the panel on both sides, removing the top third of the panel.

I used two sheets of patterned paper from a retired Crate Paper 6x6 paper pad called Notes and Things. I especially love the faux ombre cork strip, perfect for representing the wine that comes from grapes, especially with the birthday sentiment! The angled stripes are a nice contrast to the cork pattern.

To finish, I embellished the card with iridescent bubbles.

{Sunny Studio Stamps} My Life Would Suck Without You Card Set

Today's card set features the mini stamp set That Sucks and its coordinating die set. This mini set can be used in various ways, to express love/friendship or condolences on an event that 'sucks'. I made a card set showing it with one version of the sentiments with the scripted word die. I had so much fun using Crate Paper's Cute Girl 6x6 paper pad to paper piece the cute vacuum cleaner and scripted word dies!

The vacuums were stamped and trimmed from their respective patterns. Then I embellished them with white silk bows. The little hearts were die cut from the white panel using a tiny heart die and reveals the patterned paper in the layer beneath. The adorable little heart die is included in the That Sucks Die Set. The front two panels are popped up with fun foam for a bit of dimension.

{Sunny Studio Stamps Video} Blissful Baking

I'm so excited to share my first video for Sunny Studio Stamps! I'm featuring the Blissful Baking stamp set and coordinating dies but I also used Little Angels to deliver the treats and the Tag Topper Crescent Die Set to sponge my first ever billowy cloud sky.

I sparkled up the angels' halos and wings, and, of course, the cookies with a Wink of Stella glitter pen. I purposely die cut three extra cookies to look as if they're falling off the tray towards the recipient. It's the reverse effect of the Star Wars opening crawl.
