Hello, crafty friends! Have you shopped Catherine Pooler's Flash Sale? There are plenty of gorgeous patterned paper packs for sale, including the Best Friend Slimline which I used here on a 5" x 5" card, and you can use them in so many ways. Don't think of them as occasion specific either!
It's rare when I don't do any stamping on a card but these Retro Ornaments from the latest This Christmas release are perfect, especially when paired with a custom sentiment created with the Block Alphabet Dies, ink-to-paper technique and Melon Ice ink. The graphite glitter heart and dot are from the Hearts-n-Tags Dies and Nostalgic Season Dies, respectively, and they tie in with the shadow for the sentiment.
I used the Star Stencil to dry emboss the panel, and Fiesta Blue ink to ink blend the edges of the card base, before attaching sparkly DMC Diamant thread in Anthracite Grey to string up the ornaments and assemble the card.
So many of my favourite paper packs are on sale, including I Love You Soy (see this used HERE, HERE and HERE) and Great Start (see this used HERE and HERE). I hope you'll go check it out!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
